TIXR is the only authorized ticket seller for Underground Arts and purchasing tickets elsewhere is at your own risk.

The best places to purchase Underground Arts tickets are:
– On our website: online purchases are handled by our ticketing partner, Tixr.
– Tickets are also available for purchase directly from our Box Office in the front lobby during all events. We accept most major credit cards including MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.

Tickets are secured within the TIXR mobile app you can downloaded via the iOS App Store or Google Play. Tickets can be printed night of the show at the box office if you experience any issues. We have a record of all ticket purchases & PDF + print-at-home tickets will not be issued in an effort to reduce third-party resale. TIXR is the authorized ticket seller for UA & their Help Center can answer ticket FAQs.

Our box office is open during all of our events + every Friday from 12p – 8p.

We accept most major credit cards at the box office including Apple Pay, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. We also have an ATM located directly across from the box office window, if you need to withdraw cash at the show.

Shows usually start one hour after the posted door opening time. Please check individual event listings for specific information regarding your show.

Driving to a show? Underground Arts patrons are now able to get validated parking at the Metropolis Parking Lot on 13th Street.

Yes, bags are allowed and are subject to a full search by our event staff before entering the venue. Clear bags are not required.

There are no cameras, video recorders, or audio recorders permitted in the venue. All media passes must be approved by band management.

All changes for ticket pick ups must be done through the entity you purchased through.

Underground Arts is a General Admission standing venue. When a show offers seating, it will be specifically mentioned within the event description + on your ticket. We also offer ADA accommodations if needed. Please reach out to us via email (info@undergroundarts.org) for assistance.

Our coat check is open during the cold season

The City of Philadelphia banned smoking indoors at public buildings. Patrons must exit the venue in order to smoke cigarettes. When smoking in front of the venue, please be aware that Underground Arts is located in the basement of a residential building. We would appreciate if you dispose of your cigarettes in one of the provided ash trays, and if you could, please keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb the residents living in the building.

Fear not, we close out all open bar tabs at the end of the night and add a 20% gratuity. If you’ve left or lost your card or wallet, please email info@undergroundarts.org for assistance.

No outside food, beverages, flyers, stickers, handbills, mace, knives, or tools of vandalism will be permitted into the venue. Empty water bottles can be brought in to refill at our water-filling station in the hallway leading to the bathrooms.

If you lose a personal belonging, send an email to info@undergroundarts.org. If you realize that you’ve lost something while you are still in the venue, notify a member of the event staff and they will help you look for it.

Yes, we have an elevator and lift system to help access the venue. If you require accommodations, please make sure to let our event staff know when you get here. You may also reach out to the venue at info@undergroundarts.org in advance of the show so our staff can expect you.

We also offer accessible bathrooms, as well as easy access to the bar and merchandise.

All sales are final. We don’t issue any refunds or exchanges unless a show is canceled or rescheduled to a date you are unable to attend.

E-Tickets – please be ready with your “Print-At-Home” paper ticket or Mobile QR code ticket at the door to be scanned. All E-Ticket barcodes can be scanned directly from your phone – please remember to have your screen brightness turned up so it’s easy for our scanners to read your ticket!

Two Options: NFC (Digital Wallet) or QR (via the TIXR App or Browser)

Pro-Tip: Confirm your TIXR Log-In information BEFORE you leave for the show! You will need to log into your TIXR account to access tickets with either option.

NFC ticketing uses Near Field Communication to let guests enter by tapping their phone or smart device at the door. The ticket lives securely in a mobile wallet (like Apple Wallet or Google Wallet) and validates instantly—no screenshots, no paper, faster scans, and reduced fraud.

To access and download your tickets, check your confirmation email from TIXR (the sender is no-reply@tixr.com). You must click the blue button and log-in to add your tickets directly to your smartphone’s Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

The TIXR App is another way to access your tickets. It is also the best place to utilize features like transfers, resale and waitlist when available.

To access and download your tickets, first download the TIXR App. Log-in and you will see all of your upcoming shows on TIXR. Tap on the correct show and you will see the rotating QR Code, as well as an option to download to your phone’s digital wallet. Venue staff will help you scan your ticket and get you in the door.

No. The TIXR app is NOT required. Please see NFC ticketing above if you are app-adverse.

The TIXR app is not required, but you must be able to sign into your TIXR account to access tickets as well utilize features like transfers, resale and waitlist when available.

Our box office team can print tickets at will-call the night of the event. Please bring a valid photo ID so we can assist you.

Ticket transfers are intended only for gifting tickets to another individual, not for resale. We strongly recommend purchasing tickets directly from our website to guarantee validity. Tickets obtained through individuals, brokers, or secondary marketplaces are not supported and may be invalid.

How do I transfer my tickets?
1. Log in to your Tixr account (app or browser).
2. Open your Wallet and select the event.
3. Tap or click Transfer.
4. Choose the ticket(s) you want to send and enter the recipient’s email.
5. Complete the transfer — the recipient will receive an email with instructions to claim the ticket.

TIXR Support

Does the recipient need a TIXR account?
Yes — to accept the transfer, the recipient must log in or create a Tixr account with the email you used.

Can I cancel or undo a transfer?
Only before the recipient accepts it. If accepted, the transfer can’t be undone.

Can I transfer to more than one person?
You can send the transfer offer to multiple emails, but once one recipient accepts it, the ticket is no longer available for others.

Can’t I just send a screenshot?
To prevent fraud, tickets are delivered and transferred securely through the Tixr platform via NFC technology. There is no barcode or QR code to screenshot.
