Underground Arts is a unique and versatile venue in the heart of downtown Philadelphia, ideal for your next special event. Our two-room space accommodates up to 650 guests and can be customized to suit a wide range of occasions—including birthday parties, corporate gatherings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, weddings, class reunions, banquets, film screenings, and more. We offer both full venue buyouts and partial buyouts during scheduled concert nights.
Please note: due to sound overlap between rooms, we are unable to host multiple events simultaneously.

Main Room
Our main room will fit up to 200 people fully seated or up to 650 standing guests and offers a full bar (including draft brews) + a full service satellite bar. The main room also houses our 22′ x 20′ stage, professional grade audio system & full stage lighting system.
BLack Box
The Black Box – our back lounge – holds up to 200 people comfortably. Built-in booths bring a unique feel to the room, while flexible seating and table arrangements allow for nearly endless configurations to fit your event plans. The Black Box also offers the following amenities:
- Full stage with professional sound and light system
- 11′ x 15′ projection screen
- Full service bar with draft taps
